Much of what we communicate is emotive. Implemented effectively via language, feelings help statements to be conveyed both clearly and strikingly. After all, the value of emotions in commercial fields including branding, marketing and sales cannot be refuted. Emotional content triggers associations and creates connections which attract us and sometimes even compel us to act.
Essentially, the ideal translation process is as follows: establishing contact with clients, understanding their particular requirements, communicating effectively and rendering their texts in the foreign language in a manner which does justice to the (emotional) message they contain. It’s about feelings – and an instinctive feel for languages.
Sprachgefühl Berlin is aware of the polarities and paradoxes of language and the underlying emotions. Of linguistic ambivalence, of the props language also offers us, of its joys and the bittersweet taste it can sometimes leave in the mouth. Because language is all too human. It is, by turns, subtle, blunt, sensitive, cruel, precise, poetic… everything you wish it to be. Our highly-qualified and creative network of translators, with long-standing experience of the translation sector and an enduring passion to develop their language skills ever further, is delighted to be at your service.
